I'm still considering going, but last year was a great time, and Diana did such a great job, as did all
the crew at the strip. My new Drag slicks are kin'a wait'n to run down the strip !

Having a great time! Weather is good. I'll try to post a few pics. We have three racers. I have the 64 impala. John brought his white 62 belair. We met a new friend from Canada with a green 62 belair.

John and I qualifying on Saturday.
I went 13.60 @ 103.91. John went 14.02 @ 99.79. He was leading until missing a shift.
On Friday night he made a couple good runs. 13.06 and a 13.08.

First round of eliminations was John and I.
John dialed in at 13.08. Ran a 13.29 @100.16 mph.
I dialed in at 13.50. Ran a 13.97 @ 91 mph for the win. I had a good lead and lifted at the finish line.

Will had a bye run. I don't know what he ran on that run but his car was in low 11's.

Final round.
Will dialed in at 11.09. Ran a 11.13 @ 120.91mph. .142 r/t.
I was dialed 13.50. Ran a 13.56 @ 104.13 mph for the win. .034 r/t.
He blew past me right at the finish line. Didn't know who won until I looked at time slip.

We all had great time!
