348 camshaft choice

This Howard’s cam 131101-12 grind might be just the ticket for my build.
(Shopping for a 112+ lobe separation grind for EFI purposes)
Basic RPM Range: 1400-5400
Manufacturers Description: Street Force™ 2, Good idle & throttle response. Needs 4 barrel & good exhaust.
Intake Valve Lift with OE Rocker Ratio (1.75): .519"
Exhaust Valve Lift with OE Rocker Ratio (1.75): .543”
Intake Lobe Lift: .296
Exhaust Lobe Lift: .310"

What do you suppose would define a "good exhaust"?

131101-12 Howard’s cam , Mr Jacks could you recommend a valve spring kit to go with cam listed above, I need a complete kit for 409 cu in 340 hp heads, any help is appreciated sir?

I will listen to anyone’s advice on this and appreciate it . Thanks for everything guys

I would just say a good flowing exhaust but a lot of this w engine building is new to me , but I’m learning a lot from all these members.

Competetion Products pn VS2.Macnine work required.As to the good exhaust,m2 1/2 manifolds or long tube headers preferred.

I can’t get # VS2 to pull up anything at competition products site , could I be missing something?

HRC98212 Would be a good choice.Apparently the vs2 kit as been duiscontinued.

I just bought a Comp solid lifter 348/409 cam from a guy today for $50
It's .484 lift and 234° @ .050 both sides on a 116° LCA. Will be a pretty nice street cam with great idle and cruising manners.
