When I took my 60 Impala out this spring it made an odd noise. Started good but when I revved it up it made a funny noise. I don't have a tach but I would say between 2000 - 2500 rpm is where it started. I drove it down to the shop that did the work and of course then it didn't make the noise. He thought it may have been a sticky lifter that loosened up when the engine warmed up. Drove it home and the next day it made the same noise. Is this something serious or is this a common thing? Dose a product like Seafoam work for sticky lifters?
