348 tri-power

Found a tri-power air cleaner that came off a 59 impala. Does any one know if this will fit my setup. Mine is a 58 impala with a 348 with tri-power.:

The main difference, besides the difference in lids ( starburst for 58) is in the carb stanchions, or stacks. As I recall the 58's are short and the 59 up are tall (maybe the other way around?). I don't know if there would be a hood clearance problem, but you can buy the stanchions and lids from Showcars to convert one to the other.

Thanks for the information. I found a picture and it looks like the 59 stacks are shorter and the 58 are longer. Everthing else seems to match. Again appreciate the information.:

I have some stacks for a 58 that someone tacked on my air cleaner (59)
I just cut them off last night. You are welcome to them if it will help you.
I can bring them to thompson with me, let me know.
