409 Chevy engine

Hi and hello for ya'll 348-409 Chevy lovers...

I'm very pleased sending you my first post here in this B. Board. There's a long time I'm looking for a WebSite talking about these wonderful 348-409 "W" motors , and now I found out this one. I don't know exactly what guy to contact at this time, but I want let ya'll know that an old dream mine is to get a 409 Chevy motor, but doesn't matter if that will be ready to run or if it must be repaired, so I own a Machine Shop, in which we (me and my staff) are specialists in development of the Chevrolet Engines, but we never did get a 409" motor. Bear in mind that I live in BRASIL - SOUTH AMERICA. Well my friends, I hope you can help me on this issue.

Feel free to ask any questions, im sure someone will know the answer.

Finding a 409 is sometimes a challange and shipping it to Brazil won't make that task any easier but if there is one, you'll most likely find it here. You can try posting a wanted ad in our classified forums and also check the for sale area for any that might be there already.

348 - 409 Tech Specs

Thanks for the compliments and I feel welcomed here in this Site, so I found out a nice people here in this B.Board and want let ya'll know that I'm very glad to have joined to the 348-409 Club ! To start my questions to you, I'd like to know all the Tech Spec's regarding to these " W " motors, so I hope you can give me these answers for both engines. Get back any post and let me know about.

Maldonado, I really don`t speak the language but my roomate/ex girlfriend was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
