409 engine vin numbers

I have a 1962 409 engine. The VIN numbers are stamped on the block. But in front of the VIN numbers is stamped OJ. I know the J stands for Janesville but what does the O stand for. Thanks for any help.

He's in prison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously.............sounds like a miss stamp???? It's not part of the assembly number is it?

Thanks for your help. The suffix code on the block is QB so it is a 409 hp engine. It does not appear to be a miss stamp. The OJ are the same size and appear right before the VIN
number. It looks like factory stamping. The O or the J are not stamped on top of each other. Maybe someone knows what this means. Thanks

I tried to get a picture of the numbers stamped on the block but since the engine is in the car I could not get any pictures that showed the OJ before the VIN numbers. And I did not
really want to scrape the paint off of the numbers. But there is definitely a O before the J. Thanks for your help anyway.
