454 tube?

Can anyone identify this part? I'm sure it was somewhere on the 454 I got out of a 74 Caprice but have no clue on what it is?

That is the loom that routs the wires next to the block near the starter. It keeps them away from the exhaust pipe. A bell housing bolt attached one end. I don't remember what attached the other end.
