'58 Impala rear seat backrest installation

I noticed that one of the two seat backrest lower mounting brackets was missing and so I made one and welded it back on. I think I made a repro of the original, which seemed to be welded-on instead of spotwelded on. What does the correct original look like? Also, is there any kind of isolator material that goes between the body and the seat frame? I noticed that the back seat was kinda squeaky.

On 61 to 64 there is cardboard factory cover directly behind the seat springs. It hangs from the mulitple brackets
that hold the upper seat spring to the body.
they are sold reproduction.

all 2 door hardtop models in 61-64 had a bendable metal tab about 2 inches long with one end welded to the vertical part of
floorpan behind the seat designed to be bent around the factory back seat spring that was about 1 inch wide loop of spring extending
down from the last full set of horizontal seat springs (2 of these on every upper back seat spring set
