59 ElCamino rear shocks

Mixed up the two rear lower shock mounts. Does longer one go on left side.? Tks, Ed

59 axle remove

Hi, new member. I blew the rear in my 59 elcamino, can anyone tell me how to take the axles out? I remove the bolts on the brake backing plate but axle won't budge thanx, ricks59
