59 pinion snubber

Is there supposed to be a pinion snubber for a 59?

Neither of mine have one. But both of mine only have 1 upper control arm and 1 mount, later cars had two, even if they only had 1 upper.

I've only seen the pinion snubber on leaf spring cars. Our cars have the top of the axle snubbers for the Dukes of Hazard crowd.

All the 9.3 Olds/Pontiacs had the pinion snubber which was a triangulated 4-bar.
