61 el camino???

Found this while scaning the net .... I think tubbed and a blown 409 would be a cool ride.. not factory but

It looks better than anything I could build, but I think if they had used doors from a 2 door and even the 2 door sedan roof.....just shortening the quarter window as much as possible. Maybe take 4" to 6" out of the quarter window area and roof. I think that would look right.

Looks quite OEM as Bob stated. The curved door frame does distract a bit., Now they need to do some paint and body work. Looks very good.

I too would prefer the 59/60 El Camino roofline,but man would that thing be nice with a little"corrective surgery" and paint! W motor mandentory!

Have said numerous times that '61 got cheated. No 2 door wagons, El Caminos, or Sedan Deliveries.
