Thanks, it took 5 years to talk the orginial owner into selling it to me. With 94,000 miles showing it had only minor rust behind the rear wheels, below the tail lights, and in the trunk floor. The owner was always going to restore it. How many times have we heard that before.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. This is the fourth car I have painted and it put me through some issues I had not seen before. A painter friend of mine once told me painting is a adventure, you never know for sure what you are going to get. Boy was he right. In response to lilbuzzy the color is Dupont base coat/clear coat Viper Red.

It appears as if you did this in your garage, correct? That's always encouraging to us amateur Do-it-yourselfers.
Is it true that the Red costs more than other colors, say Black, etc.?
