62 Chevy Impala Assembly Manual question.

I am considering buying the62 Impala assembly manual and have been searching some reference to eactly what it shows. Anybody got one that can shed light on?
Iwas wondering about factory assembly of sheetmetal components in particular.

The assembly manual covers all of the assembly line tasks. The nearly complete body assy. was built by Fisher and very little is included in the assy. manual. The assy. manual covers mainly drive train installation, suspension, electrical harnesses, AC, power steering and brakes, shifters, etc. Still a MUST HAVE book at about $20. Leo

Is it possible to tell an original manual from a reprint or repro? My 61 has all the original dealer papers and repair and assembly manuals. I'm doubt if the manuals are original but could be...Larry

An original will have the legend box on the bottom of the page with all the amendments, changes and dates and notes. the drawings will show all the part numbers with notes. Whoever did the repros left those out.
