62 SS engine turned side molding insert

What looks better the TAPE or the HARD insert that must be attached with 3M trim adhesive?

Hope someone can advise me before 4pm east coast time today 2/18/11.

I put the metal strips into my 64 and they look great...they have a real good sparkle to them.
Only thing is with the 3M product, is be ready...I used wooden laths to cover front and back, And a lot of pistol grip type clamps to ensure a tight bond with no damage to the trim itself..

I have no experience with the tape, but I can't believe that it would have made me happy...
