62 Steering shaft trim color

I just purchased an 4-speed steering shaft assembly (without the wheel).
I need to know what shade of paint to paint the parts that go between the wheel and the dash?
Is it "gloss" or "semi-gloss"?
The top of my dash look like it's semi-gloss.
My steering wheel looks gloss, but I think it's because of the plastic in the wheel.

The column should be the same shade and sheen as the dash. The wheel is gloss.
