Of the 6x2 intakes that are out there 348/low horse 409, which is better? The Offenhauser or Edelbrock?

Who all produced 4x2 intakes, or was Edelbrock the only manufacturer?

I can't answer the first question but Offenhauser still makes a dual quad intake for the 348 and 340hp 409 Showcars sells them and probably other places too.

Opps after re-reading your post I see that you were talking about four dueces. I don't know about them.

I just bought a weiand 6x2 intake for my 348. And im not sure what carbs im going to put on it. I know that doesnt help, but thought it was cool to see someone else into the 6x2 4x2 setups.

I have a 1964 Midwest catalog that list's 4x2 barrel manifolds by Edlebrock and Weiand that's the only manifold manufacturers they were selling. Others???.

I have an Offenhauser 4x2 setup for Strombergs, Speedway motors sells and adapter for the 3 hole Stromberg to 4 hole Rochester 2G. I am thinking of running this on my 409 which when finished will have a 427 crank and be going in a 34 Ford Coupe.
