At least she has a exhaust fan on her side!!!
Clearly she is only mad because she can not lock the door. At my house a room with a locking door is a holy sanctuary where two little monsters in diapers can not bother mom. Get the lock on the door in working order and have her try it out. I am certain she will be pleased with your thoughtfulness and practicality.

Well I can see now that I am just a slacker and should have added both the mats and the crown molding that Tom suggested. I do have several feet of crown waiting for a good opportunity!
Not knowing your wife's dimensions, would the potty be wide enough and the frame sturdy enough????

She was probably disgusted at the use of crochet as garish styling in what should have been understated but obviously early modern art deco decor. Im also rather irritated.
