Advice for jetting

I have a .060 over truck 409 engine that has been souped up a bit. It has fairly new dual 500 cfm Edelbrock carbs with progressive linkage, stock jets .086 primary. .095 secondary, .065x.052 metering rods and the orange springs. There on a Offenhauser small port intake with 2 1/2" spacers with 15" of vacuum at idle. The plugs are AC 45 and burning a little dark. I am hoping someone can recommend jet and metering rod sizes and which spring to use for a street driven 37 Ford. Thanks

Try a .065x..057 metering rod.
Secondary jets could be dropped to .077 if you are getting into the secondary's that often.

I second what James said. The existing orange springs should be ok.I'd do the jets in the rear, rods in the front first.A low dollar air/fuel meter would let be able to really dial it in.You'll definatly love that engines overall performance once it's done.Aftermarket carbs ar,for safety reasons, often juetted a bit rich.
