Hi guys,i'm the guy who got the Z11 heads and intake. They look great no repairs anywhere.
All i can do is compare what i got to my running Z11 engine.(no buyers remorse)

Robert, assume you saw my post above? What are those marks on the deck surface that look like lock and stitch plugs? Just curious because in the pictures it looked like it had been welded or repaired.

One item I bought was the modified Offenhauser intake. I bid on this as practice before the sander I wanted, came up. :D I looked at before the auction but not really close. I just looked it over. Wow what a ton of work was done on this intake. It has lots of weld added to the top of the ports to change it from a low port to a high port intake. The date code is 2004. So guessing there wasn't much availabe in the aftermarket around that time, the intake was modified for racing. Lots of grinding on this. Now, do I leave as is or convert it back to liw port? One day I'll be in need of an intake to bolt to an engine with modified 333 or 817 heads. :rubTime will tell.IMG_20210410_071448.jpgIMG_20210410_071455.jpgIMG_20210410_071521.jpgIMG_20210410_071511.jpg
