alt brakcets with hooker supercomps

Trying to figure out a mounting suggestion for my alt. The guy i got the motor from, used a bbc truck lower mount, and a brakcet that goes tothe #1 header tube, and i cannot get this to work( unless im just having a really bad brainfart!)

any suggestions?

Alt bracket

I had the same problem with Ballinger headers. I had to make a bracket to go from the stock lower alt. bracket to the header bolt. Good luck .

Tom,do you have any photos ? Here's a photo of my Stahl headers,there is a small piece of angle iron welded on # 1 tube

I'll have to look at my old 64's photos and see what I did when I ran them. I think we just bolted the bottom bracket to the head.

theres a tang with a nut welded on the #1 tube. Ill try to get a pic this weekend when im over my dads house. im sure i can conjure up some sort of bracket that will work

Couldn't find a close up of my old Hooker motor on that side. I still think I used the factory bottom bracket bolted up somehow to the head just on the front.
