Somewhere I have a picture of Bob Walla, all 120 pounds of him, holding an aluminum block next to the trailer of Jim & Jim of Phantom409 fame . Did that block make it's way into the '61 Pontiac? Was that Thompson 2010?
This block was actually machined by Paul Wright of Akron. He and his partner did many blocks, including the alloy ZL-1 Yenko blocks, Wayne Cuonty Pro-Stock Mopar block and several others. He did an aluminum SBC for GM in the late 50's, or early 60's. At his shop he showed me the billet aluminum 09 crank he made. Sharp guy. Miss him a lot.
Bob's just trying to cover up his big guns with that jean jacket. LOL!
I got your package right here!!Way to many cubic inches there to cover up his small package......
It will take another big box of money. Almost there.Bob, we're waiting. I have two (2) sets of your heads now where's the blocks?...

I sure would like to get my hands on one so I could give it to Jeff and he could take some measurements off my blocks to see about finishing one?
