Here's another photo of the convertible with bucket seats, which look the same as those that went into production in 62. The trim pattern wasn't used ever again - thank God, it's horrible.. It has a weird center console that appears to be just decoration, and must still be column shift. The door arm rests are full length and look like they're out of a Buick or something.

That steering wheel looks smaller diameter, deeper dished with odd center piece than factory line. I realize its a non factory show car but wonder how close some of these ideas discussed almost made it to '62 model.
