Bearings

Greetings,

I am building a 409 for my '64 Impala. Can anyone tell me what the clearences are for the main and rod bearings and/or where I can find the info? The block will back from the machine shop soon and it will be time to build.

Minimum vertical clearance .0006.,Maximum .032 on bearings 1-4. Rear main minimum .0020,Max. .046.On a moderate engine,I'd shoot for something around .0025 on the mains,.002-.0025 on the rods.
