Thanks for all the comments on the introduction. Since I’m coming into this forum in the middle of my restoration and my frame goes to powder coat tomorrow I’ll attach some pictures. As you can see I don’t have an elaborate shop but I make do.

Yes 333 hp to be exact. This will be the second one I purchased. First one went in a 77 Buick Skylark and was very pleased with the outcome.

Barry thanks for noticing and it is a fine rust free specimen 58 except for above the headlights (typical). Car was garaged all its life. It had more exhaust systems replaced because of short drives and moisture collecting in the exhaust and rusting internally. I know at least four times in 59k miles.

Buddy back in 1968 ran a green 58 four door 283 2x4 4 speed in a lower Super Stock class and ran high 12's....:bow
Car was called Jolly Green Giant and ran out of St. Thomas, Ontario (Sparta)...cool car.....good luck with the project....:cool:

Ah......... May I suggest that you didn't pay enough for your glasses. Yes, 58's are very cool cars!... even the 4 door more door version... :poke

I get them from the Dollar General store, I don't understand. Lol

Maybe I am the one needing glasses.. I could have sworn that you referred to it as a 2 door car... Sorry, my mistake..

Let the assembly begin!!! I got the frame back from powder coat this morning and I have all the parts so now the hard labor begins in the heat of Texas. Adding a couple pictures for documentation.
