Got ya. I thought I was missing something there. I put my cam in at #1 TDC at 6 and twelve but when I put the distributor in I’ll actually be on 12/12 to be on TDC on piston 1

That’s how I have done it usually? Is that correct?

I still see that the locks on the exhaust valves in use are for decreasing Spring installed height, Just saying. Looks like the bottom coils are stacked already.


I just put my 817's on with new springs, etc, I do not have them on mine, but I ordered shims and Springs from Show Cars, so I am guessing mine are all that was needed, set at spring height of 0.168
