I am saddened to report that one of drag racing's greats is seriously hurting. Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins went through emergency brain surgery Monday and is very ill. Things are really dicey just now. Prayers and good thoughts sent his way would be appreciated.

I met Bill Jenkins at the 1974 "National Challenge" at National Speedway here on Long Island. I will always cherish the opportunity to have met him. My prayers are with him & his family.

Prayers sent! I never meet the man but have lots of books of his. His book is what I used to learn about the 660 Holley and how to tune them.
He's a smart man! Hope I still get a chance to meet him.
