Brand new PA T1 locomotive

Quite a project. As long as there are surviving blueprints, something like this could be done. I wouldn't have any idea of where the original building sheets and dimensional drawings could be had, the three main builders of American steam were Also,Lima, and Baldwin, and they didn't successfully enter the diesel market. GM had that locked up early on. The big main line steam that survives in operating condition today still has engineering drawings available, just imagine how many pages of mechanical drawings and specification sheets it would take to build one such locomotive. This is a fantastic project, to say the least. It deserves support. What a testament to the mechanical engineering of the time.Could you imagine the blueprint and plan specs for either the U.P.Big Boys or the Santa Fe 2900 and 5011 class locomotives?
