Can anyone tell me what pistons are in my 409 here is a pic they are 30 0ver

I’m putting it in a 57 Chevy
456 olds rear
Only using it for street cruise
Will it be ok?
Or should I change the Pistons
It has recently been rebuilt.

To do it proper you would need to have the engine machined for new pistons.
The KB Icon for the big block chevy rods look like a good choices for a street engine and easy on the budget.
Check in Show Cars catalog.

The Icon piston will take a bore/hone an extra .008 .They are available in .028 thur .078 sizes,and use the 440 Mopar ring pack.You can get the Ross pistons[ more expensive] in the typical .030,ect.,and either way a rebalance of the rotating assembly is needed.

Doesn't look very recent rebuild to me. Since some one used those pistons in a good QC block I would not take a chance on anything that was done to that engine. I would completely disassemble and do it right.
