We (Dad and I) used to tow his boat from Parma to Edgewater on Lake Erie where we put in and generally headed West to Rocky River and also Avon on the Lake 
. He towed a 17 foot Lyman (wood lake boat) with his 1962 Impala convertible . He had off on Wednesdays some times and he'd pick me up after football practice on a Tuesday with the boat and trailer and we headed to the Lake for the evening. Fond memories!
