Neat old airplane. Too bad it doesn't have radials. They just sound so much better than the Allisons.
I have a friend who was retired from Frontier Airlines and worked for my airline as a simulator instructor. He tried to enlist in the AAF during WWII and they wouldn't take him for some sort of medical issue, so he went to Canada and flew Lancs for them.
