Chevy 348 flywheel thickness

Chevy 348 168 tooth flywheel, old flywheel thickness 1 1/8 , new flywheel thickness 1 1/4, is this new flywheel wrong from show cars for the 348?

I would be more concerned that the mounting surface for the clutch is the same distance from the back crankshaft flange and the weights of the wheels were close. I'm assuming these are both 168 tooth wheels.

That flywheel will be just fine! You might have to adjust your clutch peddle release hight a little bit!
