coil bracket?

Seems like I have a similar issue and found this post after a search. I have an MSD distributor and Blaster coil. Using an MSD coil bracket mounted on an Edelbrock manifold results in interference between the coil and distributor so I am interested to know if the original design coil bracket worked in this instance.

409Biscayne: Forget about the Chrome coil brackets, that Summit or Jegs sell. Some of them, are Not straight up and down. They lean the coil, towards the valve cover. MSD Blaster coil, is a larger diameter, than what fits in those Chrome brackets. You can get the coil in there, but won't be able to use the screw. Try and find, an old Chevy bracket, clean it, and paint it. Simple stuff, like this, shouldn't be this hard.
