Comp Cams has recently come out with a set of lifters for the mild build engines that many of us do.They say that the DLC coating eliminated the need for ''break in''It's something worth looking into.
I don't know, but it would be nice if they work as advertised. They're priced in line with regular lifters,.I would still usse my ''old school''break in.''methods along with a good, high zzzdp breakj in oil.
Highly skeptical to say the least. The cost to coat one wrist pin with a real dlc coating is 80-100 dollars. That’s each! So I am 98% confident that it isn’t a real dlc coating but more marketing BS. If they had bodies made of good material and the crowns were ground properly there would be no reason to coat them in the vast majority of cases.
