Correct size fuel line.

I know 3/8" ID from the tank to the pump. What's the correct size from the pump to the carb? I've heard 5/16" ??? Mac

It's a HP thing

450 HP requires 3/8 line at less than 8 psi.

From the pump to the carb, 5/16" is correct for all of the carbureted Chevy V8's in that era.
