I am replacing my dash bulbs in my 1963 Wagon with LEDs. What is the the factor color of speedo and gas gauge bulbs. Mine are so dim I can't tell. Also, is the bright headlight light red or blue?
Thank you.
My 62 should be very similar to your 63 (as I wrote above) every gray wire gets a white LED

I used red, green and white LED's as noted below 8 is right on the cluster

62's - The speedmeter cluster -every bulb in that cluster 8 of them (except the flashing one)
high beam (red LED or white LED)
water temperature light
clock light
gas gauge light
oil light (red LED or white LED) -assumes you have the light if you have a oil gauge and the oil light
Ignition switch light
Heater control light
Radio light (on top of original radio)
turn signal bulbs (green -dash has green covers -but I used green LEDS

On the roof lights on my ambulance, I used multi LED bulbs for the brightness. Problem was that they washed out the red of the red plastic lenses, and they looked pink. I swapped them out for the identical bulbs, except that the LED's were red, and now they are bright and very red. I have learned that when switching from standard incandescent bulbs to LED's, that color of the LED's is very important for the result that you are looking for.
