I hate to admit it, but I still have a soft spot for Corvairs. My wife and I both had Corvairs before we met. My '63 Monza went up in flames :eek when the fuel pump ruptured while driving down the highway.Good news is that the insurance check made a nice down payment on a new '67 GTO.Leo

I still like them. They have great body styling and would be fun to modify with a front engine on either a 79-82? Malibu frame or use the original front suspension, mount a V-8 up front connected to a Corvette pumpkin adapted to the trailing arms.
