Jim, alot of the Pontiac guys have found they go just as fast with 3.73s as 4.10s using the torque and keeping the rpm down a little.

Remember too adding more torque to the motor that convertor will get looser,not necessarily bad for a race motor though.

For the builder who is thinking about a stroker for the street. So many people put so much emphasis on dyno numbers, so here are some dyno numbers. NOT a race motor. Please review 61409 post of 8-22-05 ........ I dont think he will mind me using his post for a referance. 10 to 1 comp. medium cam lift and duration, drive it anywhere. :cheers

Ronnie torquey strokers are just the right thing for especially a street/strip car. Lots of bottom end to get our heavy things moving and keep them moving.
