Has anyone tried a reproduction 1963 quarter panel?

I am thinking about buying one of the new reproduction 1963 Impala full quarter panels. I would love to hear from people who have installed them to see what they think.

My questions are:
How was the quality?
How did they fit?
Once you were done, did it look like a repro job?
Were you happy?
Would you recommend one?
Was it worth the money?

I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

repro quarters

Frank,
I can tell you that we used a set from Cars on our '62 bubbletop. I know you are looking for info on '63, but I can tell you that the ones we used were excellent, I would recommend them to anybody. They look like OEM when installed, and required very little prep.

Steven,
Thanks for the quick reply. It is encouraging to hear that the 62 quarters are good. I hope to hear the same about the 63 panels.
Sincerely,
Frank

I haven't bought any quarters yet but will be needing them for my '63 too so interested in the same answers.

I did get to look at a bunch of the repro parts at the Carlisle, Pa. flea market this past spring and was very impressed by them. The fenders, trunk lids, quarters and door skins for the 62-64's looked great! Looks like good thick metal too, not cheezy like some patch panels.
