Header gaskets

What are you guys with big ported heads and 2” or 2 1/8” tubes doing for header gaskets” I’m in need of some! Thanks

I have the stainless a member here makes. But can’t remember who. If flanges and head are flat and clean I’ve also used copper rtv. But I’m a hack.just looked back Barry. It was Jeremy (bubble top man). Hasn’t been here since 2018.

We had SCE make a pair of flat copper. I don’t think they really do anything though and I put them on with ultra copper. I think the ultra copper is what does the sealing. But I am also a hack.

Black sealer...let it set up before installing. Dog hunting right now in Colorado but can get product info in a couple days if interested. No more gaskets 4 me.

Ported my old ones with a Drimell. Bought some Edelbrocks but they are a three piece gasket and they drill the bolt holes 7/16 so unless you glue them on first you don’t know if they’re square to port or not!! Would still have had to port them to!

I think I traced the Eddy gasket outline first before the header was tight I could move it to be sure it lined up.
