How do I add AC?

I'd like to add air conditioning to my 64 Impala and I'd like to to look original so I assume I have to change the dash. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get started and where to get the parts? Thanks very much in advance. Phil Barone

hi,,,when i was doing the samething i called Classic Auto Air 1-877-342-5526
toll free or 1-813-251-2356 in tampa fl. they set me up for a 59 el camino i installed and it was very easy to do with there paper work. then went to them to fill and test. works great. the folks had no problem on any ?s i ask. which was only 2. they know there stuff. hope this helps.

Thanks guys. This is turning out to be pretty expensive. I just priced brakes at just under four and two grand depending on level. Geez...
