I have the correct brake/clutch and brace to go in the '62 Impala. It is a PG now and need some instructs on how to get the old PG brace out and the new clutch/brake assembly in. This has been done many times so I hope somebody can help out......thanks.....

No need to change the "Brace" just change the Pedals themselves. After dis-connecting everything needed, just pull the Pin and drop the PG Pedal. Then install the Clutch and Brake Pedals. The Shaft on the Clutch Pedal replaces the Pin. Be careful of the Bushings and be aware of all the necessary small parts including the Rubber Stop for the Clutch Pedal.

Well I tore into this thing and should have waited for your response. That will learn me. I have new bushings, so I guess we will put it back together. Thanks......
