Way to go Joel
You gotta start somewhere! That’s how you get sucked in to this sport… it’s a snowball effect. I can relate to this. I started breaking shit at the back of the car and worked my way forward… LOL
So running against both Barry and Joel in the finals Saturday and Sunday, I can tell you it was very exciting. "Space Shuttle" isn't quick but she gets the job done. Paul gave me some carbs to barrow and Nathan made the dual quad swap between runs look easy when Friday night we discovered my carbs accelerator pumps gave up. I probably should have pulled parts from Paul's carbs and just rebuilt mine but I felt pressure (and the heat) to make a quick easy fix by just placing the (huge to my engine) 1411's. Anyway, what an epic 348-409 weekend again!Looks like a good time had by all. But maybe not Paul, that was a bad break. Congratulations to Barry on Sunday and Joel on Saturday.
All I know is for the second Iowa race I've been apart of I was the slowest off the line AGAIN but this time I can at least blame the car for just shutting down on launch. I literally watched the lights slowly turn off as I rolled through. Not sure my rear tires even made it through the lights before I fired it back up. LOL!Who won the 500.00 for best reaction time?
