I am glad to have joined this group. It seems that a lot of you guys know a good bit about these cars and engines the 348-409 came in. We are building a 1963 Impala SS 409 Car right now. Matching number car. Still has every single spot wield from factory in it. I am looking for some help on a little info if any of you guys can help. I am trying to find out information on the chalk markings that came on these cars. We would like to put them back on the car like it had new. Thanks Jake

Welcome aboard!

We have several "automotive archaeologists" among our ranks, I'm sure they'll comment. It would help if you had pictures that you could share.

Wish i had a shop like that . Is this a customer's car , or your's???? Don't see how the restoration could be any done any better !!!! A work of art!!!! :bow:bow

That is our shop we have 2 businesses one where we do restorations and street rods (Malone Enterprises) and the other one where we sell classics and late models (Classic Motorsports LLC)
