Just had to make one. It's 2 x 2 inches, solid aluminum and weighs 12.2 oz

Went with a brushed finish.

Guess it's a paper weight? :D

Tools used to make this:
1) Band saw
2) Milling machine
3) 1/4 inch round nose router bit (to make the "pips")
4) 1/2 inch straight cutter
5) Belt sander

Trivia:
1) The dots on dice are called "Pips".
2) Each side and it's opposite add up to 7. Ex. 1 & 6, 2 & 5 and 3 & 4.

Nice job Bob,

As part of my Electrical Fitter/mechanic apprenticeship we had to make a 1" cube out of steel, we started out with a piece of stock 2" long by an 1 1/4" square,

Our only tools to make this was a hacksaw, scribe, steel rule, centre punch, drill, marking blue and a set of 3 files, we were marked on how accurate we were, I got about a 70% mark, we then added the dots for use as a die and curved the edges so it could roll, we had to mark these accurately and use an 1/8" drill for the dots. I still have this in my treasure box :crazy
