Back then, it may have been to only new stroker crank available without weding, which was what big end suppliers did back then. Now there are many choices. Good for a parts display for the cool factor.

Yes back in the early days of stroker kits, welded cranks and boxed stock rods were the only game in town, MT was one of the pioneers of the new manufactured stuff.

Guess I'm not sentimental, I'd try to build something reasonable around it. Wall hangers are over rated.

It would only be cool as a wall hanger if it were hanging with a Power Ram and some valve covers as well. Otherwise build with it.
