Mini Starter stagger bolt - 3rd bolt?

Hi,

Just after confirmation that I don't need to install a third bolt on my Powermaster mini starter staggered adapter?

If required, I would have to elongate the hole in the adapter so as the third bolt would align with engine block threaded hole.

See picture attached.

Does the the bolt hole closest to the crankshaft fit?
No. In the picture you will see the outboard bolt and very fwd bolt installed. To install the third bolt I would have to elongate the rear second hole from crank about 1/2 a hole in the aluminium adapter

The holes you are using are typical for a 168T flywheel. Do your bolts have the knurled locator area that engages the blocks recessed register in the holes to aid in alignment?

Yes they do. They came with the starter. My alignment and teeth meshing clearances are spot on. No shims required.
