My First 409 Build

Well, after correcting the push rod holes in the Eddy Heads, correcting the cam bearing issue, it's getting close. I'm waiting a few parts (valve cover bolts) to come in, but go ahead and critique away. 1963 X Block.

Thanks! Installing it into a customers 63 Impala SS clone, 4-speed. I'm removing the small block then the car goes off to the paint shop. This guy spares no expense, new chrome, interior, etc. I'll post pics of the car when I get it to the shop for installation.

Thanks guys. Sorry about the empty Sunoco fuel drum I use to paint small items and the trailer in the background. Ordered another $332.00 worth of correct fuel line assemblies, carb linkage and manifold egr from Showcars today to complete. The customer had to send the Mooneyes dual quad filter assembly back as it did not fit the factory dual quads, however I have him order an Edelbrock assembly from Showcars that does fit.

Who did carbs with the plated original linkage.
I have a 409 -380HP carb to redo that does not have the linkage restored that I need have it done.
