Just when I thought I had seen all the different versions of the heads, you have to come up with another one.
What is the casting date? FB is a 315 hp code and If the casting date is April or May of 58, then this is the late 58 Police Cruiser head.
If it's a 59 date, then it's cuz the 335 hp should have been out by May of 59 and that would have been a FE code.

I found it. Looks like an original late 58 315hp cast March 6, 58 with high comp pistons and probably has the solid lifter cam, unless it was converted to reverse rotation. The only thing marine about it is the intake, valve covers and the timing adapter. Too bad he didn't post a better pic of the heads with the casting dates.........could even tell alot by the springs.
I've never seen a real FB before. I have the correct intake and carbs for it
