I didn't have a girlfriend, worked at the local airport after school.
Man I used to get tired of cleaning the oil stains off the bottom of those piper 140s.
My best buddy in high school his dad worked for the airline, so Todd got a job as a skycap at the airport ……he constantly had cash…… he’d make $100-$200 in a day in tips just hauling luggage……. he had a great job for a high schooler

I know what you're saying La! Back in the 70's after I closed the bars down, I used to stop and see my buddy who worked for Beckett aviation at the Youngstown airport and had steady midnight turn. Many times he'd break out the Gojo and we commence to degreasing the aircrafts undersides, the DC-3 was a real trip to do, I used to go home with a stiff neck looking up degreasing the aircraft!
