Need Cam for 348 Engine build in 60 Impala HDT

I have my block back from the Machine Shop.

This is what I have and plans:
.040 over bore with 10.5:1 Forged Pistons
Eagle I Beam Rods for BBC 6.135”
Stock crank
Plan on Edelbrock Large Port Heads
Plan on Edlebrock Single 4 barrel Intake with Large Ports.
Headers
700R4 transmission with 2500 stall
Power Brakes
Air Conditioned
Street cruising only, no racing

I need a cam and lifters now.

I have looked at Show-Cars 0950 and 0951 cams. I have also looked at the Thumpr cams. Most comments here about the Thumpr are not good.

I want it to sound good but I want it to have enough vacuum for power brakes and I will have A/C.

What are your suggestions?

The 0951 with a 3.70-4.10 gear.Thumper's suck!!!!!!!!!! Use a carb such as 650 AVS2. Your rear tires will hate this combo

I was looking at the FITech EFI or the Holley Sniper EFI. The FITech EFI can control the timing also. Anybody used these?

You'd like the Sniper better.It's simpler,has much better customer service.Holley also sells a dist[you'll need a dist.adapter sleeve] that makes computer timing control a plug and play deal.

I have a 951 and based on what you have its probably what you want. Thumper makes noise not power. I haven't used any yet but FiTech would probably be my choice.
